Crezane Bosch has been re-elected as the Democratic Alliance’s (DA) Gauteng North regional chairperson, securing her second term at the party’s regional elective conference.

Bosch, a member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, defeated challenger Shaun Wilkinson in a contest that underscored the DA’s focus on strengthening its structures ahead of the 2026 Local Government Elections.

The regional conference was to elect leadership tasked with guiding the DA’s strategy in Gauteng North, a critical region that includes the City of Tshwane.

Under Bosch’s leadership expands its footprint significantly, establishing branches in all 107 wards of Tshwane for the first time.

Bosch first assumed the role of regional chairperson in October 2023, and her re-election consolidates her influence within the party’s provincial structures.

She currently serves as the DA’s Shadow MEC
