Deputy Minister in the Presidency Kenny Morolong has officially handed over brand-new, state-of-the-art digitised broadcast studios to Mams Community Radio Station (92.9). This forms part of governments drive to strengthen community media while also empowering local voices.
The launch, spearheaded by the Media Development and Diversity Agency (MDDA), forms part of a broader national strategy to promote media diversity, support local languages, and ensure historically disadvantaged communities have access to reliable, high-quality programming.

Morolong was joined at the handover by members of the MDDA Board, the station’s leadership, local ward councillors, and civil society representatives.
