New retail development breaks ground in Rosslyn

Construction has started on a new 9,700 m² retail development at Rosslyn Hub, adding momentum to Tshwane Automotive City, a long-term programme that the city projects could attract about R500 billion in investment over 50 years.

Tshwane Executive Mayor Nasiphi Moya said that the city’s mayoral committee continued its programme of strategic engagements with the city’s 17 Strategic Urban Developments (SUDs) through the sod-turning ceremony for The Yard, at the Rosslyn Hub development.

The ceremony marked the start of construction of the privately developed retail centre, which forms part of the 100-hectare Rosslyn Hub precinct and the Tshwane Automotive City (TAC).
