THE streets of X were busy with South Africans showing their support for the Durban raid on Tuesday where police raided buildings in the city and arrested 100 undocumented migrants, confiscated drugs worth millions of Rand, fake US Dollars and ammunition.
In a show of solidarity with police work, many took to X and went as far as suggesting that perhaps the departure of former police boss Bheki Cele was a blessing in disguise.
Support for KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi seems to be growing with social media users saying he gave them confidence that the matter of illegal immigrants is finally being handled after so many years of neglect.
