A slate of company and institutional investment pledges were announced at the 2026 South Africa Investment Conference on Tuesday, with the official conference presentation placing capital investment projects at R415 billion and the ecosystem total at R889.8 billion.
President Cyril Ramaphosa said the conference showed there was a strong case for investment in the country.

He said the cumulative value of the pledges was the highest since the first conference. He also said much of the capital announced was domestic, reflecting local business confidence.
The named corporate pledges announced in the official conference presentation were:
- Sasol – R60 billion
- Cornubia 957 – R25 billion
- V&A Waterfront – R24 billion
- MTN – R21.8 billion
- Members of the French Chamber of Commerce – R20.4 billion
- Devmco Group – R20 billion
- Valterra Platinum – R17.8 billion
