President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced that there are now more than 900 confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in SA.
Ramaphosa made the announcement during his virtual G20 Summit address in Pretoria on Thursday.
“We have to work together as a continent to address this pandemic; we have to coordinate our response as a continent which can then be implemented at regional and country level,” said Ramaphosa.
Earlier, Ramaphosa tested negative for coronavirus, Presidency confirmed in a statement.
“The President submitted for testing as a precautionary measure upon the advice of his physicians on Tuesday 24th March 2020 and received his results last night,” said Presidency spokesperson Khusela Diko in a statement.
