Ladies Who Lunch: Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams in Hot Water for ‘Breaking’ Lockdown Rules

Communications Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams has landed in hot water for allegedly breaking government lockdown rules after pictures of her tucking into a fancy family lunch at the home of ANC NEC member Mduduzi Manana went viral on social media.

The family lunch pictures, which were posted by Manana on popular social media platform Instagram, has set off a wave of backlash, with many Twitter and Facebook users accusing the two senior ANC heavyweights of failing to lead by example during the lockdown period.

In a caption, Manana wrote on Instagram: “It was great to host a former colleague and dear sister Cde Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams (Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies) on her way back from executing critical and essential services required for the effective functioning of our country during the nationwide lockdown.”
