The Hawks in North West have arrested the JB Marks Municipality’s Mayor in Potchefstroom, Kgotso Khumalo.
He was allegedly arrested by the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Unit on Friday morning for theft and fraud. The acting municipal manager, Cyril Henry, has also been arrested alongside Khumalo
On Monday the Hawks arrested former Ratlou Local Municipal Manager, Cassius Sebatane Sejake, for allegedly awarding four tenders worth R5 million in the 2018/19 financial year.
