The Kruger National Park is reeling from one of the most destructive floods in years, following relentless rainfall that battered the region throughout the past week.
Video footage shows swollen rivers bursting their banks, muddy waters engulfing roads, and entire sections of bushveld submerged beneath torrents of water.

Emergency teams were deployed to evacuate stranded tourists, while staff worked tirelessly to secure wildlife and protect vulnerable infrastructure.
Aerial footage taken over the area highlights the sheer scale of the disaster, where vast plains were transformed into lakes, trees stand in waist-deep water, and roads disappearing beneath the floodwaters.
The floods have raised concerns about long-term damage to the park’s delicate ecosystem.
