South Africa’s internationally acclaimed DJ and producer, Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, otherwise known as Black Coffee, is closing 2025 with a festive season that reflects both his global influence and his deep commitment to community upliftment.

Known for electrifying musical performance sets that continue to draw crowds from Cape Town to Miami, it is his foundation’s charitable drive that has captured hearts this December.

With a theme, a season of generosity, the drive follows a remarkable season of charitable momentum for the Black Coffee Foundation.

After hosting an elegant charity dinner at Daytona Melrose on 28 November, and a vibrant benefit party in Miami on 4 December this year, the Foundation now turns its focus home.

The foundation is determined to ensure that families across South Africa experience the magic, nourishment, and dignity that Christmas should bring.

The initiative, Feed the Family, Share the Joy, has already delivered thousands of food parcels across the country, each designed to provide a full festive meal. For £50 or R1 000, sponsors can ensure that an entire household celebrates Christmas with dignity and warmth.

“Feed the Family, Share the Joy is more than a drive — it’s a commitment to reminding every family that they matter. No one should face Christmas with an empty table. Through collective generosity, we can make sure this season is filled with warmth, nourishment, and a renewed sense of hope. We invite everyone to join us in sharing the joy,” Lungie Mapumulo, CEO of the Black Coffee Foundation, said in reports.

Alongside his philanthropy, Black Coffee has headlined major festive events, including a sold‑out show at Cabo Beach in Cape Town, where he shared the stage with Avangart Talbot, Caiiro, and Rosey Gold.

His international sets continue to showcase South African house music to the world, proving that his artistry is as impactful as his generosity.

This festive season, Black Coffee embodies the spirit of Ubuntu, blending music, community, and hope into a celebration that resonates far beyond the dance floor.
